Salt Lake Design Week

Bombshell helped launch Salt Lake City’s inaugural Salt Lake Design Week November 14–18, 2011. The event, hosted by the Salt Lake City chapter of AIGA featured more than 25 events focusing on the power of design. Events ranged from a live-time design competition, lectures, workshops, open studio tours and a closing night panel discussion and reception at the new Natural History Museum of Utah.

Bombshell led a successful marking and PR campaign, managed social media networks and secured partnerships with media outlets. SLDW received coverage from Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake Magazine, City Weekly, ABC 4, City Weekly and more. Marketing partnerships with KUER, City Weekly, SLUG Magazine and the SLC Downtown Alliance.

The result: Most every event sold out, Salt Lake Design Week garnered positive networking buzz and SLDW ended in the black, securing funds for SLDW 2012.
