Salt Lake Design Week

Bombshell helped launch Salt Lake City’s inaugural Salt Lake Design Week November 14–18, 2011. The event, hosted by the Salt Lake City chapter of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) featured more than 25 events focusing on the power of design. Events included a live design competition, lectures, workshops, open studio tours, a closing night panel discussion and a reception at the newly opened Natural History Museum of Utah.

Bombshell led a successful marketing and PR campaign, managed social media networks and secured partnerships with media outlets. The event received coverage from Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake Magazine, City Weekly, ABC 4, City Weekly and more. Marketing partnerships with KUER, City Weekly, SLUG Magazine and the SLC Downtown Alliance.

The result: Nearly every event sold out, Salt Lake Design Week garnered positive networking buzz and the event ended in the black, which helped to secure funds for its second annual design week event.
